Shivjayanti Celebrations at Lotus House, Ahmedabad - A Report




This year as it was the 75th Shivjayanti Celebration, a series of programs were held.
On the eve of Shivratri, an evening of songs in praise of Shiv baba was celebrated
on the 27th of February, in which different singers were invited to recite their
bhajans and get the divine message of Shivbaba. Before that, hundreds of balloons
were blown in the sky with every one writing their message on them for God on
the occasion of Shivratri. It was a wonderful scene when red coloured heart
shaped balloons filled the sky, carrying lots of feelings with them for our beloved God.
On 28th March, after the morning murli class 9 BK’s who have crossed 75 years of
their life were felicitated. Looking at this, others who are still young, had the feeling,
we wish! we too were old enough to be felicitated.

Further, on the 1st of March a 25 feet  tall, huge Shivlingam was inaugurated in
the presence of 11 VIP’s from different fields.

In the same continuity of programs, the Chief Conservator of Forests for Gujarat,
Mr Jagdish Prasad, hoisted the Flag of Shiva and thereafter a big tableau
was organized displaying the Wedding of Lord Shiva with participants dressed
up as monkeys, saints, the deaf & dumb,the lame and blind etc. This tableau
was headed by an elephant on top of which seated was Krishna worshipping
Lord Shiva. Pamphlets were distributed too giving Baba’s message to all.

In addition to this, 10,000 people who came to see the 25 feet tall image of
Shivlingam also took the benefit of listening to the true Story of
immortality along with getting an explanation of our Exhibition.

Remarkable 75th Platinum Jubliee Shiv Jayanti Celebrations cum Godly service report from Santacruz (West), Mumbai


Santacruz, 1st March 2011: Divine Greetings On the grand occasion of 75th Platinum Jubilee of our beloved Father Shiv Baba's Jayanti.

His sweet children, Brahmin family of BK Santacruz(West),Mumbai  celebrated the festival in a special way.

A grand  Rath Yatra or ‘Shiv ki Barat’ was carried out with  a life size (about 8ft huge) Shivling.  The open truck was beautifully lighted
and decorated with flowers, scenic mountains and glaciers depicting  Parvat .

Cine Actor Rahul Roy, inaugurated the Rath Yatra when Rajyogini Brahma Kumari sister Meera signaled for a flag off to begin the
procession along with Sr. Inspector Shri Chowdhariji.

Many VIPs, Government & security officials from Police & CID department also formed a part of the rally as guests cum escorts
and message was given to huge masses of people.

75th Shiv Jayanti in Mount Abu



On the auspicious occasion of the 75th Shiv Jayanti, the Platinum Shiv Jayanti, Baba’s flag has been hoisted at Gyan Sarovar & Spiritual Museum. This morning Om Shanti Bhavan was filled with Madhuban Niwasis and about 950 Double Foreigners.  Dadi Janki gave class and read the Murli.. After Murli class Baba’s flag was hoisted by our  3 Dadis: Dadi Janki, Dadi Hridaya Mohini and Dadi Rattan Mohini at Om Shanti Bhavan and on Pandav Bhavan’s Aeroplane by remote control!  Baba's flag has also been hoisted at the GHRC today.  Baba's flag will be hoisted at Shantivan on the 3rd March.

A Unique Tribute to 26/11 Martyrs
  
Ahmed Nagar, 26th NovemberPrajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya and its Youth wing has organized a memorable event on the occasion of 2nd anniversary of 26/11 terror attack of Mumbai by organizing world’s biggest peace Sand painting (Rangoli) on 26th November this year.

Recipient of Universal Peace Messenger Award from United Nations, Brahma Kumaris organized the event at Ashok bhau Firodia School’s ground. The Rangoli depicting universal Peace, Harmony, Cooperation and spiritual values spreading in 9020 Sq.meters (97090 Sq Feet) area. Over 2000 students, eminent citizens and members of Brahma Kumaris Youth wing from all over India participated in the mega event. About 19000 Kg of rangoli colours in 10 different shades was used to make the Peace Rangoli. This Rangoli s being registered with Guinness book of world records and Limca book of records as world’s biggest rangoli.

Various social-educational institutions like vision 2020, Prerna pratishtan, Kalaptaru Enterprises, AhmedNagar Education Society, Paramveer training centre, Pune Sports & social foundation& Bhutare decorators are sponsored this event.
